  • Images: When you take a photo of a book page, the image is uploaded to our secure servers (via Supabase) so you can access it from any device.
  • Metadata: We store the book titles, notes, and tags you create to organize your library.

1.3 Device Permissions

The app requests access to:

  • Camera: To take photos of book pages.
  • Photo Library: To allow you to upload existing photos of pages.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected data strictly to:

  • Provide and maintain the SaveThePage service.
  • Synchronize your library across your devices.
  • Improve app functionality and user experience.
  • Communicate essential service updates.

We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

3. Data Storage and Security

We use Supabase (an enterprise-grade backend service) to store your data. All data is protected with industry-standard security measures, including Row Level Security (RLS) to ensure that only you can access your own photos and notes.

4. Your Rights and Choices

  • Access and Portability: You can view all your saved pages and profile data within the app.
  • Deletion: You can delete individual pages or books at any time. You can also request the complete deletion of your account and all associated data through the settings in the app.
  • Third-Party Revocation: You can revoke the app's access to your Apple or Google account through their respective security settings.

5. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

  • Supabase: For database, authentication, and file storage.
  • Google Books API: To help you find book titles and covers.
  • Expo / EAS: For application infrastructure and updates.
